PANAMA CITY -- The Bay Education Foundation announced its 2014 fall semester Employee Tuition Assistance Scholarships recipients Thursday.
The foundation partners with the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations and the Florida Legislature to fund the scholarship program to Bay District Schools employees who are pursuing degrees or certifications relevant to school district interests.
Elementary school recipients are as follows: Kesia Miller from Springfield, John Capes from Hutchison Beach, Jessica Stone from Deer Point and Jaclyn McNeal from Hiland Park.
Middle school recipients are: Terry Werning from Merritt Brown, Deena Williams from Mowat and Nancy Rawson from Surfside.
Combination and special needs school recipients are: Loral Monn from Deane Bozeman, Cheri Wroblewski from Breakfast Point Academy, Melanie Hudson from CC Washington Academy and Kristi Spinks and Bruce Koep from Margaret K. Lewis.
Melanie Johnson from Nelson Building at the school headquarters also received a scholarship.
