Friday's night's tree lighting at Gateway Park in Panama City marked the beginning of a Christmas season full of activities downtown.
The 68th annual Panama City Jaycees Christmas Parade is along Harrison Avenue Saturday night at 7.
Then the annual “A Dickens Of A Christmas” continues Dec. 13 and 20 from 6-9 p.m. along Harrison Avenue with carolers and concerts, horse-drawn carriage rides and pony rides, ice skating and snowman-building and more.
Also, Oaks by the Bay Park in St. Andrews will host the St. Andrews Christmas tree lighting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
