PANAMA CITY — John Holdnak will be the next president of Gulf Coast State College.
The college’s Board of Trustees selected Holdnak by a 5-4 vote today.
Holdnak is vice chancellor for financial policy of the Florida college system. From 2000 to 2008, he was vice president/dean of administrative services and chief financial officer of GCSC. He was an applicant for GCSC president when current president Jim Kerley was hired. Kerley is retiring and his last day is July 31.
Four trustees voted for William Kibler, vice president for student affairs at Mississippi State University.
