University to host service for first dean

PANAMA CITY -- A celebration of life service for Larson “Larry” Bland, Florida State University Panama City’s first dean, will be held Saturday, from 1-3 p.m. at the campus at 4750 Collegiate Drive.

Bland died after an extended battle with cancer May 29 at the age of 76. 

Family, friends and FSU Panama City Dean Ken Shaw will be among the speakers honoring Bland at the service.
