Chamber block party next week

PANAMA CITY -- The Bay County Chamber of Commerce will host its third annual Board of Directors’ Block Party Thursday in front of the chamber building on the 200 block of W. 5th Street in Panama City.

The family and pet-friendly event will feature food, entertainment, games and more from 5-7 p.m.

The block party is open to the public, not just chamber members.

Attendees who bring a donation item for the Bay County Humane Society will receive a free T-shirt. Items needed include Purina Dog or Puppy Chow, Purina Cat or Kitten Chow, kitty clumping litter, Pine Sol, peanut butter, liquid detergent, tall kitchen trash bahs, 33-gallon trash bags, paper towels, large dog harnesses, leashes, collars, brown paper bags, plastic bags and pill pockets.
