New traffic signal to be activated

WEST BAY -- A new traffic signal at the intersection of State 79 and State 388 in West Bay will be activated on June 25 at about 10 a.m.

The signal has been in a flash mode to acquaint motorists with the location.

The traffic signal is part of a $1.9 million project to construct improvements along State 79 between County 388 in West Bay and U.S. 98 in Panama City Beach.
