MARIANNA — Two adults and a child are were injured in a car accident hospital after a car accident Saturday afternoon.
Jodi A. Morrissey, 42, of Alford, was driving north on County 167 in Jackson County near Bright Prospect Road shortly after 3:30 p.m. when her Chevy Trailblazer began to rotate counterclockwise, entering the southbound shoulder, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release. The right rear side of the vehicle then struck standing trees west of the southbound shoulder, sending the vehicle clockwise and coming to final rest facing east, FHP reported.
Officials reported Morissey was in serious condition, while her passengers, James Warman, 40, and Devin McComb, 5, both from Alford, were in critical condition. They were taken to Jackson Hospital for treatment; Devin was taken later to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, the report said.
All were wearing seat belts.
