RiverCamps, Lake Merial boil water notice lifted

PANAMA CITY — Bay County Utilities has rescinded the precautionary boil water notice issued on Monday for residents of RiverCamps and Lake Merial following the satisfactory completion of a bacteriological survey showing that the water is safe to drink.

Another boil notice is planned for residents of RiverCamps, Lake Merial and Southport on Tuesday after the completion of repairs scheduled for a hairline crack discovered in the water main at Deer Point reservoir. For more information, contact Bay County Utility Services at (850) 248-5010.
