APALACHICOLA -- Former governor and lawmaker Bob Graham will join his daughter's campaign for Congress when it stops in Franklin and Wakulla counties Friday.
Gwen Graham's eight-day, 14-county "Grilling with the Grahams" tour of Florida's 2nd Congressional District begins at 9 a.m. when the Grahams will paddle down the Apalachicola River before firing up the grill at the Apalachicola Community Center at Battery Park, 1 Bay Ave., at 12:30 p.m.
From there the family will travel to Crawfordville, where they will host another cookout at the Women's Club, 64 Ochlockonee St.
The "Grilling with the Grahams" tour began in Tallahassee Wednesday and stopped in Greenville, Perry and Monticello Thursday. More stops will be announced next week.
