PANAMA CITY -- The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity will host a seminar in Panama City Sept. 9 for employers seeking help in the appeals process for re-employment assistant claims.
The one-hour seminar will take place at the CareerSource Gulf Coast Job Center at 625 Highway 231. Hiring managers and human resource professionals who manage re-employment claims are encouraged to attend for a general overview of the process, along with a question and answer session.
The program is free, but those interested in attending must RSVP by calling (850) 872-4340 during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
“The success of our business community is key to a healthy economy,” said CareerSource Gulf Coast Executive Director Kim Bodine. “This is a great opportunity for any employer with questions about the re-employment appeals process to get their questions answered firsthand by those who operate the system.”
