PANAMA CITY BEACH — Local broadcast media company Magic Broadcasting II has closed on the sale of 93.9 PLAY-FM (WPCF-A) to Panama City Beach company Evolution Broadcasting for $150,000.
PLAY-FM, programmed by Club La Vela owner Patrick Pfeffer, began broadcasting in the Bay County area in January of this year. The station specializes in rhythmic dance and electronic dance music.
Magic Broadcasting II operates several radio stations in the area, including Island 106 (WILN-FM), Groove 100.1 (WVVE-FM), 97X (WYYX-FM) and Talk Radio 101.1 (WYO-FM).
