Bay County Veterans Day Parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and East 13th Street. It will proceed south on Harrison, turn right and continue west on 11th Street. The parade will end about 10:30 a.m. in front of the Bay County Government Center. A ceremony will follow.
The Bay Wind Community Band will present a free patriotic concert at Veterans Park at 5920 Cherry St. in Callaway. The 45-piece concert band will begin playing at 1:15 p.m., take a break for the Callaway Veterans Day Parade and finish the concert after the parade ends.
Callaway Veterans Day Parade will be at 2 p.m. The parade will begin at the intersection of Berthe Avenue and Cherry Street and continue west on Cherry to the Callaway Assembly of God Church. Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be served at Veterans Park following the parade.
The Florida Park Service will offer free admission to area state parks in honor of Veterans Day.
Bob Evans restaurants will serve free all-you-can-eat hotcakes from 6-11 a.m. to veterans and active-duty military members who present a valid military ID.
IHOP restaraunt will serve a free stack of three "Red, White and Blue" pancakes with blueberry, strawberry and whipped toppings from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for veterans and active-duty military members who present a valid military ID.
