PANAMA CITY — The Downtown Improvement Board discussed the Dickens of a Christmas event at its meeting on Wednesday.
The event runs for three consecutive weekends starting Dec. 5 downtown on Harrison Avenue and features a 40-foot ice slide, 70-foot obstacle course and live music. This year the event is connected by trolleys with similar events in St. Andrews. The board will decorate McKenzie Park Thursday.
The board also discussed officer insurance protecting board members from liability. It will cost the board between $1,000 and $1,200 each year.
