PANAMA CITY — The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will roll out nine new Saltwater Grand Slam fishing tournaments Saturday, the last License Free Fishing Day of 2014, which waives the recreational saltwater fishing license requirement.
Anglers who catch any Grand Slam species and share a photograph on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #FWCSlam will be qualified to win a prize bag of fishing goodies.
“Rolling out the new Saltwater Grand Slam program on a License Free Fishing Day is just one more reason to get out there and explore all the wonderful fishing opportunities Florida has to offer,” said FWC Director Nick Wiley. “These challenges encourage new anglers to participate and give seasoned anglers an exciting goal to reach for.”
