LYNN HAVEN -- An account has been opened to help raise money for a local baby boy born with life-threatening birth defects.

Account No. 63494009 at Panhandle Educator’s Federal Credit Union is accepting donations for William Snow, a 5-month-old baby born with cleft lip and palate, as well as other birth defects.

The fund was established to help raise money to help offset costs William’s parents Kimmy and Ben Snow have incurred while taking care of the special needs infant.

The family says $5,000 a month in medical expenses have to be accrued in order to retain an around-the-clock nurse to watch over William. The family is receiving partial Medicaid.
