LYNN HAVEN — Project Linus Make a Blanket Day will be Feb. 21.
Project Linus provides handmade quilts and blankets to seriously ill and traumatized children in Bay and surrounding counties and will accept donations at Jim’s Vacuum and Sewing Center, 715 State 77 in Lynn Haven, until Feb. 21.
Blankets may be sewn, quilted, knitted, crocheted, tied or knotted fleece in children friendly patterns. Blankets made of wool, upholstery fabric, corduroy, vinyl, polyester, double knit or with holiday themes cannot be accepted. Project Linus also requests that blankets be made by nonsmokers in smoke-free environments.
