PANAMA CITY -- The Bay County Democratic Executive Committee (DEC), the county branch of the Florida Democratic Party, is organizing a Bay County Democratic Veterans’ Caucus and will hold its first meeting Tuesday at 135 Harrison Ave.
The meeting will begin with an informational portion at 6 p.m. The DEC officers will attend to answer questions. Following that portion of the meeting, elections will be held for the five directors and four officers: president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary of the caucus. Self-nominations are welcomed. It is envisioned that the officers will all be veterans as will be a majority of the directors.
