PANAMA CITY BEACH -- Pier Park has a new addition to its management team, announcing the hire of Michael Kerrigan as the new director of marketing and business development.
“We’re excited to welcome Michael as an integral member of our dynamic team,” said Pier Park General Manager Brent Gardner. “His experience in business development, advertising and marketing will be an asset to Pier Park as the property continues to solidify its presence as the region’s premier open-air beachfront shopping destination.”
Kerrigan brings more than a decade of experience in sponsorship sales, event management, media buying and social media to Pier Park, and will be responsible for strategic marketing, advertising, public relations and special events in his new position. He will also aid in sponsorship development and community outreach.
An Illinois native, Kerrigan holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Purdue University and previously served as an account executive for the Peterman Agency.
