CareerSource Gulf Coast posted the highest percentage of job placements in the Florida during the month of December, topping career centers in 24 state regions.
The agency was applauded by Gov. Rick Scott, who met with CSGC Chairman Robert Swenk and Executive Director Kim Bodine in Tallahassee last week as part of CareerSource Florida Day at the Capitol. During the event, Scott issued a proclamation for the day to show support for workforce boards across Florida.
“This is an honor that demonstrates a community-wide commitment to developing a stronger workforce by meeting the needs of both employers and job seekers,” Bodine said. “Countless individuals work day in and day out in support of our clear mission to build a world-class workforce.”
CSGC offers free assistance to job seekers and employers seeking to fill positions in Bay, Gulf and Franklin Counties. Services include job training, skills assessments, workshops, office space for employers and more.
