TPO to discuss project priorities

PANAMA CITY — The Bay County Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) will discuss ranking funding priorities for future road projects at its meeting Wednesday.

The ranking would be done on projects that are currently not cost feasible under the Long Range Transportation Plan. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is requesting the board action.

The projects include widening State 388 — formerly County 388 — and work on State 77, on the U.S. 98/U.S. 231 intersection, on U.S. 231 and on 23rd Street, according to TPO documents.

The TPO board is scheduled to meet at 3:30 p.m. inside the Bay County Government Center in Panama City. The meeting is open to the public.
