PANAMA CITY -- A woman is in critical condition after being hit by an SUV Friday, a Panama City Police Department news release states.
At about 8 p.m. Friday, Kelly Tuggle, 38, was attempting to walk cross West 15th Street when she was hit by a 2006 Nissan Murano driven by James Clark, 46, the release states. Clark was traveling west on West 15th Street near Fountain Avenue when Tuggle stepped into traffic in front of him.
Tuggle was taken to Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System with life threatening injuries, the release states. She is in critical, but stable condition.
The crash is under investigation and no charges are expected at this time, police said.
