TALLAHASSEE — Kahreem T.D. Golden, a 19-year-old Florida State University student from Panama City, has been named to the state Tobacco Education and Use Prevention Advisory Council, according to a news release from Gov. Rick Scott’s office.
Golden is a member of several tobacco prevention and control committees, including Students Working Against Tobacco. She succeeds Erin E. Sylvester. Golden’s term runs through June 30, 2016.
The 23-member council is part of a statewide tobacco education and use prevention program mandated under state law.
