PANAMA CITY - The Florida Department of Health for Bay County has issued water advisories at four local areas after testing found fecal pollution.
The advisory is in effect at Delwood Beach, Carl Gray Park, the Dupont Bridge and Beach Drive. The advisory will be posted at the affected beaches, which will be retested next week.
Local waters are tested twice monthly between March and October for the presence of bacteria that indicate fecal pollution. The enteric bacteria can cause disease, infection and rashes for humans.
