PANAMA CITY - The Panama City Fire Department will be conducting hydrant testing Tuesday in Panama City.
Hydrants will need to be flowed to ensure proper operation, officials wrote in a news release. Testing may cause a slight discoloration of household water. If water discoloration occurs, PCFD suggested allowing it to run until it clears. Hydrant testing will conclude by the end of May, according to officials.
