TALLAHASSEE -- Both major party candidates for Congress in Florida District 2 have enough verified signatures to qualify for the election, according to the Florida Division of Elections.
U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland, R-Panama City, and Tallahassee Democrat Gwen Graham passed the 4,534-signature threshold when petitions were submitted to the state. Southerland had 4,896 verified signatures and Graham had 4,804, according to the Division of Elections website Thursday.
