Airport to conduct emergency drill Thursday

WEST BAY -- The Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport will conduct a live emergency drill Thursday morning.

The drill will incorporate emergency response agencies throughout Bay County, which will join airport staff in practicing emergency procedures as required by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Airport staff advised travelers and residents to not be alarmed by the heavy emergency vehicle traffic, and added that the drill will not delay or inconvenience passengers or aircraft.

The drill should be completed by noon.
