Rohan qualifies by petition

PANAMA CITY -- Thelma Rohan, Republican candidate for state representative, District 6, has turned in the required number of signatures to qualify for the ballot.

According to the state Division of Elections, at least 1,070 signatures are required to qualify for election, and 1,123 signatures have been verified. 

The primary election is Aug. 26, with the general election Nov. 4.
