PANAMA CITY -- Early voting for the primary elections ends Saturday.

Bay County Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen said Friday he is encouraging people to come out to vote on the last day of early voting today, saying they might encounter smaller crowds at the polls than on election day Tuesday.

“We’ve not ever had any more than three people (early voting) in line at any point in time,” Andersen said. “If their minds are made up, I recommend that they go ahead and vote on Saturday.”

At 5 p.m., 5,574 registered voters had cast ballots in early voting. There are 111,179 registered voters in Bay County.
Early voting is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through today at four locations. They are: the Supervisor of Elections Office at 830 W. 11th St. in Panama City; Lynn Haven City Hall Annex at 108 E. Ninth St.; Springfield Community Building at 3728 E. Third St.; and Panama City Beach Senior Center at 423 Lyndell Lane.
