PANAMA CITY -- The Bay Town Trolley is giving away free 30-day passes and wants its riders to have a shot at winning them.
The trolley will award one free pass each month and is encouraging locals to sign up to be entered into the selection pool.
BayCountyTransportation Planning Organization (TPO) Chairman Rodney Friend said this is one small way of thanking the trolley’s riders.
“We are committed to our riders and making their lives easier,” he said in a statement. “So many in our community use the trolley to go about their lives, and we are pleased to help them.
January’s winner was local resident Melissa Witzgall, who’s used the service for four years, according to a trolley news release.
To enter, residents should visit the Bay Town Trolley’s Facebook page and go to the “featured rider” section. A winner will be selected at the start of each month in 2014.
