PANAMA CITY — Registration for kindergarten students is open until Sept. 1.
Students must be 5 years old by Sept. 1 to register for the next school year, which begins in August, a Bay District Schools news release stated. Parents should go to the student’s zoned school to register and submit a parent’s photo identification, two proofs of residence, student’s birth certificate, Florida shot record and a health physical form.
To find your child’s zoned school, go to www.bay.k12.fl.us and click “School Zones” located at the bottom, right-hand side of the page, or call Student Services at 850-767-4113.
Following registration, parents need to sign up for Parent Portal, a complete online student data system which allows parent access to student information. Parents who do not have Internet access may ask for assistance at the student’s school.
