PANAMA CITY BEACH — Celebrate the Arts, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed because of inclement weather.
Organizers say the event will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 4 at Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach. Follow their Facebook page for updates.
Helen Ferrell with Beach Art Group said the decision to postpone was made to help the artists. In addition, more artists will be able to participate in the April 4 event.
“The emphasis with Celebrate the Arts is creating maximum sales opportunities for the artist,” Ferrell said. “The executive committee took a look at the weather for this weekend and decided, with all the rain forecast, it would hurt the sales so they postponed it until April 4. I wasn't happy with the decision, but I have been to enough 'wet' shows to know it is the best way to go.”
